we are interested in the purchase of a trailer tent for next season, but we would like to view some first, we are in the leeds area and would apperciate where we can go to veiw them.
P.S also what makes are recomended and the ones to stay clear from as a tent owner not really sure on the makes
They seem to push Camp-Let models but do have Trigano, Sunncamp and sometimes other makes.
The choice really is the individuals because what is good for one person may not be right for another.
I think you need to decide what type of set up you want i.e. how many do you want to sleep in it, quick set up or cabin and awning separate, with/without kitchen etc.
We have the Trigano Olympe GL, (with kitchen), and love it. The kitchen is heavy, but your not moving it too far and the beds are heavy to erect until you get used to them. Having said that it is easy to erect and very large
and comfy.
At the end of the day it`s down to you, but hope what i`ve said helps slightly.
Caseys at Otley used to have trailer tents on display. Don Valley at Doncaster also have a few on display. It`s a shame Go Out Doors stopped selling them as it`s not far from you. I don`t think there are anymore in Yorkshire.
thanks for all the info, went to camperlands on sunday, saw one we really liked a camp-let concorde, but will go and try the others this weekend for a look at different makes and models....
