Hi

I'm new to tts and am considering buying a sunncamp 400 for touring in the uk and France. I have one concern that is holding me back, and that is with the 520cm width, which is a little wide for a standard pitch.

Can anyone who has owned this tt give me some idea as to whether this is a problem or not, ie do you get asked to pay for two pitches and do you have to call the site in advance?

Any words of wisdom welcome

I used to have a sunncamp 400SE and never got charged for 2 pitches as it fitted on one pitch and room to get my car on as well.

Most pitches in the UK will take the size of the 400.

France should definitely be no problem.

Before you book give them the erected size 6.2m x 5.2m and you should have no problem.

Hi, I've just taken ownership of a 400se and need to get a groundsheet for it.

Can you recommend a good groundsheet? Do you get a 400x600 and cut it to size?

Is carpet better? Does it need to go on top of a groundsheet ?

Any words of advice welcome
