Hi. I am looking for recommendations for a 85AH leisure battery as I think my one is on its way out although I have tried to give it a good long charge when fitted to a friends caravan using his 12v light for a few hours it lost considerable power so I am looking for a replacement.Rang around for prices makes so far are.Diamond.numac and I have looked at the Banner ones online although they are more expensive.I dont use the battery on site as we use hookup I want it more so for our motor mover and emergencies on site i.e power cuts.I basically wont the best battery for the most realistic price.All advise will be gladly accepted.Cheers.Alex

don't you have a motor mover fitted to your camper?i thought they recommed a 110ah if a motor mover is being used?

Hi.Tony. The 110 is too big for the compartment and I have been on caravan forums where people say the 85 is suitable for single axle caravans as long as it is kept charged  as I ststed above we do have a motor mover fitted but dont use it that often.Cheers.Alex

I have an 85AH on my caravan and a Powertouch mover, the van has an MTPLM of 1400 Kgs and the battery copes no problems ,it is 7yrs old and still going  strong.
