Tried the old sleeping bags under the cover they seem to be doing the trick.
have opened it up a couple of times to check and everything is nice and dry.

I too am concerned about condensation, all fine until I put camper back together. Toilet area and mirrors very wet, will try making a gap between top cover and canvas

Hi, I had similar problem with 2002 crusader and i found pin holes in the transit cover. I found this only when it was a sunny day and I'd hung the cover half & half over a washing line and whilst checking if it was fully dried, from in between the 2 halves of the cover, I noticed the sun shining through. A new cover solved the problem.
We too use bubble wrap and leave all canvas in - no problems at all. But, to please the wife, I also invested in a couple of rechargeable dehumidifies - cost me about £25 but alleviated all the earache!!
Suggest you also also to raise the middle of the cover by placing a cushion/ball underneath as this aides airflow
