We have had one for about 5 years now and still using daily at home. Then taking it to camp for 6 weeks the last late one we had.
Someone had a thread on this quite a while back, where one they got from Lakeland had gone wrong and they kept true to their word of replacement without worrying about it. They did just that even when it had been used a long time. It was a shirt time according to Lakeland, they have a good reputation and want to keep it. So they are a good supplier.......No! I do not work for them and never have donebut have had to tell them something has gone wrong with something and they sent me a replacement immediately they have good customer relations.
It is very cheap to run. But needs to careful not to let anyone especially little ones or pets get near the Remoska when on, as the lid gets very hot; as the cooking element is just under the lid.
But they still are brilliant to cook, roast, bake in. Costly, but the return on electric will pay for itself. We have the grand size.Being used as I write Saturday dinners being cooked via my oh.
Grand.
