I have one which I was lucky enough to buy at a carboot in the summer for £25.00.

I don't cook cakes in it as I tend to bake in bulk, but other than that, it has pretty much replaced my small oven.

If you type in Remoska using the search facility in the Camping and Caravanning Equipment forum, you should find quite a few opinions.

Personally I love mine, and keep it out on top of my hob. Accessories can be expensive, but Remoska's do come up on E-bay, so worth a look.

If you haven't already found it, you could check out the Remoska website here

I have one (had it about 3 years now) and love it I have a grand ( since Pizzas will fit in:)) I use it at home as main oven and electric bill went down considerable and take it camping, which brings a welcome change on a fortnight holiday to two gas ring cooking!

We have had one for about 5 years now and still using daily at home. Then taking it to camp for 6 weeks the last late one we had.

Someone had a thread on this quite a while back, where one they got from Lakeland had gone wrong and they kept true to their word of replacement without worrying about it. They did just that even when it had been used a long time. It was a shirt time according to Lakeland, they have a good reputation and want to keep it. So they are a good supplier.......No! I do not work for them and never have done24but have had to tell them something has gone wrong with something and they sent me a replacement immediately they have good customer relations.

It is very cheap to run. But needs to careful not to let anyone especially little ones or pets get near the Remoska when on, as the lid gets very hot; as the cooking element is just under the lid.

But they still are brilliant to cook, roast, bake in. Costly, but the return on electric will pay for itself. We have the grand size.Being used as I write Saturday dinners being cooked via my oh.

Grand.

We have had one for a few years - great piece of kit and versatile - we liked using it for jusRoll croissants in the mornings!
