Yes, thanks Lobey and Burneth.

Have heard all 'Excellent' reviews about Lisa's awnings, and might even ask her to do it, (if she doesn't mind of course, 24) but still looking  to see if it is at all possible that we can buy a 3 sided window type, (similar to Camcroft's light weight porch.) with the windows that double up as doors, due to having multi zips like we have on our Issabella large awning we bought with the FC and of course hopeing to get the same match as our Quartz colours.

The new 'Acrylic' Porches on the market now seem to be exciting us more, you only have to look at Camcrofts' new upgraded design and can see a difference from their previous one.

We will bide our time, and see what else comes on the market  (all good things come to those that wait 24 24)

Coastwalkers.

I would be interested in knowing how much you would want for the old one too.....:)

I have an older countryman but think it would probably still be ok fit-wise....

A word of warning. We were using our Outdoor Revolution Porch Awning on our recent holiday at Arisaig and although the forecaster were saying there would be 30mph winds the following morning, judging by the difficulties that folks were experiencing just trying to walk in it, I reckon the winds were 40+mph.

Anyways, we decided to take down the porch awning and in doing so, the wind caught it and ripped it right across the front.

I will attempt to repair it using Gorilla Tape as that is black and the rip is on the black bit.

I reckon had we not taken it down, the wind would have torn it anyway, probably far worse.

Although ours was the only awning on the site to actually be damaged, other caravanners with full awnings had spent the whole day holding their awnings down as they were fearful that they would be blown away.

I don't know how my first picture got on here as it is this years new model for my caravan and I first posted in this thread in 2012

you can't use the at sign on here and lisa doesn't make the awnings she just adapts them so you can't get any skirts from her unless she has finished wearing them

Debhill - Is that a spacelite porch you have on your pathfinder? I'm trying to sort a porch out for us but need a big one as we'd like to use the table from insider the camper out in the porcg and still have space for 4-6 of us to move around the chairs (and hopefully have some storage too?). I'm thinking a spacelite would be ideal - lots of space and one quick pole for setup. I will be doing it DIY too but am not very experienced on my machine. What thickness thread would you recommend and do I need a sturdier than normal needle? Thanks!

We used sailcloth thread and a needle for denim. Both strong enough for the job.
The whole thing is pretty simple to do as long as you get the correct zip.

It's an Out Revolution Spacelite. We have out Pathfinder table and 4 chairs in it. Plus another table at the side with kettle etc on and a cool box.

Debhill you have just made my mind up. Been looking at the spacelite for a while wondering if it would fit my cruiser. Do you do anything special to seal down the sides? I remember seeing Lobey's magnet system, just wondered if you bother with anything? Does it cover the zip out window on the side of the FC ?

What do you mean it's too cold to go camping? :)
