Hi,

New to the forum so this is my first post, We are currently considering selling our trailer tent and moving onto a tent for more room. Before i sell the trailer tent i have a question that is bugging me lol

With the trailer up you can see daylight through bits of the stitching (i'm been fussy there are tiny pinholes) Is this normal? the strange thing is we had heavy rain and it never leaked?

Hope that makes sense its sounds more drastic than it is lol tens is a Sunseeker Classic but we need more room !

As Tom Jones said,it's not unusual . Very small holes can close up when wet,and also surface tension holds the water in droplet form so it beads and runs off. Stitch holes are more noticable on dark canvas too. Just to be nosey,what tent are you looking at?

They have them for about 250 with delivery at Camperlands at the moment.

Spoke to Camperlands to see if they had one set up as we would like to see one up but they did not have one up unfortunately.

Will probably get the trailer tent sold first, Was going to use it as a camping trailer but it does seem a waste when its a decent setup.

Can't help with the trailer tent, but if Camperlands don't have the tent up Winfields might. It might be a bit early in the year for them, but when their full display is up it is big, and I'm sure I've seen Kampa there.

If you are at all worried about the seam pin holes, you can buy Seam Sealer in any camping shop.

It comes in a tube and looks like Vaseline. It is a clear wax type jelly that "does whet it says on the tube".
