Hi

Could anyone give me some tips for my friends that will be sleeping in our annexe (when we get one)

How they can be warm as we will be ok in our camper but i want them to be warm (they have never camped before and trying to show them its ace!!! Ive never slept in awning on airbed so concered they will be cold.

Ie what goes under airbed, what to sleep in!!

Many layers below them will help including some fleecy type material to insulate them from the ground and the air bed itself. You can get very cold sleeping on airbeds outside!

Try the tent or equipment sections for more advice as many tent campers on there

Quick blast woth a fan heater inside their annexe before they get into bed may also be nice!

The (proper) campers on here would recommend SIMs (self inflating mats) these are thick foam mats that expand when you open the valve and only thin (5-10cms) when compared to an airbed but you are not sleeping on a layer of cold air. Aldi and Lidl do them for about £15 when they get their camping stuff in.

Don't think I could do it but my son much prefers his SIM to an airbed.  

Aerobeds are also well liked. You would need to check that it would fit in the inner tent and again layers underneath is the way to keep warm.
