Hi to you all I wonder if someone on this forum could tell me where the water filter is on a 2005 pennine pullman and also if they know how to replace it, I have a truma crystal compact and truma say after sterilising the water system to replace the filter cartridge don`t know if everybody does this, I have opened the grills and it is not behind either does that mean I have to take the housing off the side of the camper to get at the filter, would welcome all advice on the subject.

Hi Keith as far as i am aware Pennine have never fitted water filters to any of there folding camper models ,if you do have one it must be a retro fit .

I thought the water 'filter' was built in to the pump head at the end of the 'pipe/tube' that sits in the water 'tank' outside the FC?
I'm not aware of any other filter.

Hi John, Kelper an croeso thanks for your replies, the reason for the question was because of the truma compact instruction booklet and not Pennines handbook, it says on the truma website that the compact is now obsolete however you can still buy the filter cartridge or replace compact for a truma ultraflow which entails a conversion kit, however judging by your replies I don`t think anybody actually bothers to change their filter should it have one so I will just run puricleen through the onboard water heater and pipes and forget about the filter unless anybody has any other suggestions

Many thanks Keith
