If you pass your test to drive cars or small vehicles up to 3,500 kilograms (kg) (category B) from 19 January 2013, you’ll be able to tow:
light trailers weighing no more than 750 kg
trailers weighing more than 750 kg, where the combined weight of the towing vehicle (car or small vehicle) and the trailer is not more than 3,500 kg
I think at the moment there is a silly situation where where if you had a 3000kg vehicle you could not tow a 750kg trailer but if you had a 2000kg vehicle you could tow a 1500kg trailer ask yourself which is the better wieght ratio for towing so is it an attempt to sort that out ? must admit it doesn't on the surface look much different.
------------- they said it couldnt be done so i left it and went camping
a bad days camping is better than a good day at work
