Hi Does any one know what year they started putting both the 240V and 12v system with leisure battery in Pennies fiestas as standard. We are looking for an older 2nd hand Pennine Fiesta but it seems to be hit and miss as to what sort of electric they have.
Can't answer your question sorry but mine is a 2007 and that has 240 and 12v. Look on e-bay and try a process of deduction or even perhaps give Pennine a ring?
Thanks - we are looking for something mid 90's so I think it could be a combination of anything.
Its just that we have seen some that have 12v lights and the fridge running off 12v - but they don't seem to have a battery or any wiring for it so I can't see why there would be 12v sockets etc.

I'm quite confused!!
Some fiestas have fitted mains electrics and have a 12volt transformer which powers the 12volt sockets but do not have a battery, our present camper ( a sterling ) has this set up,if we go on a non electric site we have to plug the 12s socket into the car and take power from the car battery, we are sorting this at the monent.

We have a 1999 Fiesta, which has 240v with a 12v transformer and battery charger. Although there was no battery fitted from new, the wiring was there. The battery fits the left locker under the sink, which I installed last summer. As already said, it depends on the spec the original customer wanted on the older models. BTW, ours is also fitted with a Truma blown air heater, great for chilly nights.
