We started off with a tent, so we had the bits we needed. I would say not to bother too much with 'camping' things, stick to cheap pots and pans (supermarket value type pots) also buy a cheapy cutlery set rather than plastic ones which will break!
We have melamine plates and bowls - not much matches as I tended to pick up bits when I saw them on offer but we don't mind!
You'll need a table, we started out with a couple of the cheapy green ones from go outdoors, then got a royal one with folds in half and now have a plastic one which has bench seats with it. The table folds flat and the benches are stored inside the table top. It's like this

Other than that some folding chairs would be handy for sitting in the awning/outside.
You'll need some lighting, and if going non ehu they will have to battery ones. We have a battery lantern with a remote we keep in in the cabin, then get into bed then turn it off from inside the sleeping pod.
My children don't sleep in the dark so they have a little mini lantern which stays on all night.
We have head torches for night time trips to the loo, the kids have a kids one too, which they love!
We did get a luggable loo last year for night time wees. This is just a plastic outter in the shape of a toliet and a bucket inside which you empty every morning. Great for the kids. This time we have gained a chemical toliet with our FC so we now use that instead.
Can't really think of much else, if you ever do go for EHU then you'll soon be taking alot more kit!
Oh also this year we got the children a 'huggle buddy' type pillow, so they use that now as their pillow - saves trying to squeeze in another two big pillows!
