You canvas would be ok, but your stitching might come apart if it's a bit long in the tooth, plus if it's waterproof & you want to keep it that way, make 101% sure that there is no detergent left in the machine.
Use a specific canvas cleaner or soak flakes & be prepared to reproof anyway.
Also don't use any thing over 30'C or it will shrink.
IF ! the canvas does rip/tear/break up it was knacked anyway.
