Morning,

Does anybody have any recommendations for zip repairs in the Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire area??

I have a 1996 Fiesta and have bought a 2009 Fiesta Awning. The awning just needs the zip changing to fit onto my fiesta.

I have found TVS in Bolton who can do it but they are a long way from Sc**thorpe and searching the internet has been tricky in my area.

Or you source the new zip yourself and then take it to a sewing place near you and ask them to detach original zip and put the new one on? Or somewhere that deals with large items for sewing, know others on here have suggested that route to me in the past.

 East Coast Marine, Fletchers Yard,  Wellogate, Grimsby. just down from the railway station (top town)  01472/342317  used to have our awnings altered there, bit hard to find  the entrance is between the shops. It's a long time since I was there so try Google it,( an exile in Scunny), Jock

Hi

I would 100% recommend  TVS,Bolton.They changed a complete zip for my 1997 pullman awning,we arranged this with Graham so that a machine was free on a fixed day & drove up from Brmingham, we dropped off the awning at 9am & it was ready for collection 1130 am the sameday.

Gave us just enough time to look around Asda & visit the local cafe

Maybe an option if you cannot find anyone.
