Hi guys, has any one out there fitted or had fitted a caravan mover to a Pennine Coutryman ? bit of a over kill I Know but reaccuring back problem seems to be driving me down this route ! been looking at a Powrtouch Compact but not 100% convinced it will fit. Any advice would be most welcome.
I think other people on her have had a mover fitted to their countryman. Give a couple of the mover manufactures a ring, I'm sure they would be able to tell you if they have fitted one before . I know its different but I have a powrtouch fitted to my quartz 6 , fitted by powrtouch in a morning without a problem. Expensive but well worth it
Had Powertouch mover fitted to our Pennine Quartz 2+2, (same size/shape as the Countryman) works a dream, moves our unit over our gravel driveway no trouble. Without the mover we wouldn't have got out of our driveway let alone go on holiday.
More expensive to fit as spacers had to be added, but Powertouch did monthly payments over 6 months with no interest added.

Like the sound of intrest free over 6 months !! did you go direct to powrtouch? or better still can you let me have the name of the company............thanks,Baz
We had a power touch compact fitted to our countryman in March this year. Love it, it takes the hard work out of moving the unit. I would recommend one, it required extra plates but was fitted in approx 5 hours. They did it on the drive so made it easier for us. We bought it at the C+C show, paid £720 but fitted free. Its also great just playing with it

I fitted a Rhyno mover to my countryman. Took a bit of time and I needed some adapter plates to make the thing fit. I wish that I had spent the extra to have it fitted as lying on my back under the unit wasnt my idea of a good time.
Had good response from the manufacturers and all extra parts were supplied FOC. It was expensive but the best thing we have ever done as we can now drive the unit back down our steep drive when we get back from a trip away.
If you are thinking of getting one fitted make sure they understand what unit you need it fitted to as the chassis members differ from unit to unit and what fits some trailers wont fit others.
