 I ordered a new jockey wheel and it arrived, but sadly had insufficient air in it and I can't get any kind of nozzle anywhere near the valve. So, kind vendor is sending a new wheel, but just in case it doesn't get here before I go away I thought I would get a spare wheel that I have with a broken winder but wheel in perfect condition. Removing the split pin from either side was very simple, but what I am now left with is a wheel with an aluminium axle/shaft through it which I cannot shift at all. It is therefore just as attached to the remainder of the jockey winder as it was before. How do I get the wheel off please? In REALLY  simple layperson's terms please, I am already fit to throw the darn thing throw the window. I have tried pushing the tube through the hole but it won't budge and as it is aluminium I am frightened that too much force will bend it and I will never get it out!

If you are near Stockport,drop it off and I will sort it,if not,try warming it,wd40 and gently hammering it ,with wood to protect the ali from the hammer. Sometimes,where ali and steel meet,corrosion sets in and this can be loosened with boiling water.
