LyraTours, Does the pod have the zipped opening at the front, or is it the larger size pod that has the zipp at the side of the pod.
The front zipped pods are the smaller single bed units, made to go under the trailer tent bed area, and the larger zipped (double) pods are used for an extra bed/private area, normaly put up in the awning area of a TT or FC as extra private space.
As Russboy has said, they were not designed to sleep in under a FC, as the sliding bed bars would be in the way to be able to erect it properly, but you can use them as a storage area, but not ideal under the beds on the FC's.

I don't think so, not officially, I expect it was used in the awning area, or somehow erected under the bed for storage. Although if John Byrne has an official one for his Cruiser, maybe there is a way that it can be attached, as the bed areas are the same size as the Crusader. I expect John has also got what you and I have, a TT bed pod. If not I would be interested to know. As already mentioned above, there are proper seperate pods/extensions available for the Crusader awning area, but don't come cheap.
Keep us posted.
