Hi guys and galls,
Well......... more questions from a FC newbee :)
so the thinking seems to be with a FC as apposed to a TT you don't need to use guy ropes...........
I don't even know if there are fixings
so how about in this summery weather with blustery winds?
I know ours.....as on wheels and jockey...rocks, not tried the corner jacks yet... are they quite firm in strong wind....without awning,as we do a lot of weekends under canvas and want to do the same with the FC, so may be minimum setup

Hi Guys/galls,
well it went up .......... ........ there is a rip at the front /side center apex by the door that stopped us tensioning that side, two small glued on patches on top front, a couple of the ring loops broken at the bedroom skirt, a seam undoing on a back fly-mesh window...opposite the door.... and a couple of the Velcro strips inside coming UN-stitched at top of windows to seal the 'glass'
the canvas will go in to a local specialist repair here in Bristol and be sorted.
so I suppose not bad for £150..... tires are good and a spare....but no carrier....stabilizers work ok. there is a new roof fitted 10 years ago with a guy loop at each corner :)....do you use 'elastic loop' on these guy ropes?
it will go in for a hub and brake check when I find a local trailer specialist...it takes two of us to push it with lots of effort so wondering if the brakes are binding....your thoughts?
oh yes and no main electrics, although there is a circut for 12volt but I will redo that as I cant find a input end
and apparently the road lights are working ok.

don
i have never guyed my main unit, and it has been in some strong winds with no damage done.
as to your brakes it does sound like they may be binding as i have no trouble pushing my cruiser by myself.is it when you are pushing it backwards, that it is hard to push?or both ways?
Hi Tony,
the brake lever comes to around 45 degrees when full on.
we have a shingle drive and this appears to have been the problem, I put a plank down each side for the wheels and 'once we had got it onto the planks' all was ok...she pushed it ok by herself while I steered it down the planks so looks like the softest bit of ground and we can forget pushing it
