We are at present staying at whitecliff holiday park of the isle of wight and have set up up trigano randger 575 lx only to find that the water won't work, the tap clicks but no water comes through.
The pump is brand new and only been used once for a weekend about 6 weeks ago, when we purchased the said FC?
Checked the fuses and all look good, light on the wardrobe is working fine to, so we do have electric (running on the min hook up).
Any ideas as we are here for a fortnight and today is day one.
Chris.

Hi the week point is the plug connection where the pump plugs into the socket on the trailer. Make sure the electrical sockets are clean, the same with the pins on the pump plug terminals. They may also be a little loose some times working it in and out a few times may start it working if not the brass pins of the plug may need to be gently opened up with a screw driver.
I've never played with a 575 so these are just general ideas:
Is there any noise from the pump? If the pump is working you should be able to hear it whirring.
Have you tried cleaning the connection where the pump connects to the trailer? It may be dirty or corroded on the connecting pins.
If the pump is working but water is not coming to the sink the problem is probably in the pipe somewhere.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
We had a similar experience four weeks ago the pump was working and the light came on when we turned on the tap but no water came out.It had always been ok before so could not understand why no water was coming out of the tap. After much head scratching and trying everything I checked the tap head and found that it was blocked with limescale so got a needle and poked all the small hols out in all the taps and shower head and that sorted it out you wouldn't think that limescale would stop the water but it did. This happened to us last time we were away, our unit is only 1yr old so pump was quite new. My OH just blew down the hose and it was fine, must of been an airlock
Thank you all for your help, unfortunately there is no whirring coming from the pump, so will have to check terminals, also looking around camp for vans running a whale pump same as ours.
Also going have a look at the terminals as the pump is brand new and worked last time we used it, the FC has been in for some work as the drainage sink in the work top was almost split in two (a quick dealer fix, a little glue) so going by the repair I wonder if the pump has been swapped for an older on when in for repair, just a thought.
Anyway off to have a butchers, will let you know how I get on.
Chris.

After going out to buy a few bits, fuses a new 12v plug, female connectors and a tester in the hope of finding a broken connection and been able to have all stuff to hand to enable me to a repair, and getting my pump tested ( which I can now confirm works perfectly) I found out that the wire on the rear of inlet had been knocked off in transit by our pots and pans.
BUT......
The pump won't turn off, and can't see anyway to adjust the pressure on the whale pump, there is a blue cap on the rear of the inlet which looks like it should adjust the pressure but it won't turn.
I have managed to flick the cap off just in case there is a screw of some kind inside but can't see nothing.
Any one out there using a whale pump know how to adjust the pressure?
Chris.

Sorry can't help you with that one, but to tide you over until you can sort it, you could always just go and buy a couple of 4-5ltr spring water bottles from a supermarket - about 90p each and you can reuse them as they have carrying handles.

Turns out after reconnecting All the wires that I had taken off, I had managed to get wires crossed in the cross over block.
Just like to say that we are really grateful for all you help, that what makes this forum what it is.
Thank you from us happy campers, we can now enjoy our holiday.

So glad you got it solved, there's nothing worse that things going wrong as soon as you get there! If it's any consolation, there's always some problem I have to solve when I get where I'm going!
