Hi All,

As title says i have noticed the floor near one end of the camper is spongy when walking on it, I assume it has been damp at some point although feels completely dry now.

Anyone had any experience of this, recommendations to either repair/replace/strengthen?

Any advice appreciated!

Andy.

Just had a read around and noticed people refer to "delamination" near sink/cooker or door usually, well this is in between sink and wardrobe so could well be that.

Will buy one of those kits from ebay and give it a bash.

Andy.

Had a Tardis years ago, had the same problem.

The quickest and easiest fix is to wedge a length of timber under the floor.

The chassis (if I remember correctly) is 'C' shaped, which enabled a length od timber (might have been 3" x 3") to be inserted btween the front tapering chassis members, knocked tight with a hammer, and then secured with a coachbolt.

I can recall doing that fix - and it worked well.

BTW - if the floor has gone, it might pay to take a look inside the door. You might wll find that the timber surrounding the lock has also rotted.

Again, a relatively easy fix (the door is hollow) - but a testament to Conway's reluctance to seal things properly.
