Hello, just wondering how does everyone keep their towels dry? I would appreciate any ideas, especially as the weather has been so rainy. There are 4 of us, each will need 2 towels - 1 for beach, 1 for shower, and I just have visions of wet smelly towels ruining my folding camper! Obviously on sunny days this won't be a problem, but on showery days Is it possible to string up a washing line inside an awning? I do have a clothes airer rack, but am trying to pack light. Thanks!
Microfibre towels will dry quicker. Airer is fine inside awning and if awning sturdy then a line strung up would also be fine but watch weight of lots of large wet towels. Plenty of air circulation required to avoid condensation aswell
could you drop the levels of towels to 3 between 2
theres 2 of us and we take 3, 1 each that we hang over a bungee cord (attached to the frame) inside the tent or attached to a line connected to a spare king pole from the porch.
even on very wet camps, theres always been a spare dry towel
i find when its not warm the towels dry well during the day, ready for the evening,
i have also put them outside under the porch connected by pegs and loops to a main cross pole, they aired out really well, and it was raining
very different with youngsters though, had to take stuff to laundry mid way through camp, good luck
We usually put our shower towels in the car, hanging over the backs of the seats. Beach towels I would hang in the awning or over the back of chairs in the awning or on a string across the awning somehow. there are 5 of us. If it gets too much, use a laundrette drier.
I use these hooks they are very good the ones that I have are over 10 years old and still going strong
Try the link below if it does not work copy and paste it into your browser.

We take with us a small electric radiator and fold the towels over it avoiding the vent and they stay warm and dry, obviously you need electric hook-up and they dont take long to dry
