Hello,

First time in our FC, and we are hoping to watch the Olympics, so I have bought a very small tv. It is not specifically for use with a leisure battery, but as our first few nights are on a site without EHU I am wondering if we might be able to use it on the battery.  In the FC (Pennine Sterling) are 2 plug points right next to each other - one is a normal one, one is a round one.  My question is this - must I use ONLY the round one when running on battery, or do I just choose the appropriate shaped plug point?  Or is the normal one specifically for use only with EHU?  I don't own any appliances with a round plug.

round plug is twelve (12) volts and is powered by either the campers battery or the transformer when on hook up. Normal plug is just that...a 240v outlet and can only be used when on hook up. Best is to find a pub with a big screen 17

Or buy an inverter, we have a small (150W) one, which is automatically switched onto the sockets when the EHU is disconnected.

Will the tv run on 12v?
My one does. I bought a lead from evilbay that fitted the tv and replaced the other end with a 12v plug. I use this lead all the time, whether on EHU or not.

I came into this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

It says 12V on the back, so I have ordered a lead from evilbay - Thanks for the tip Macquatic.  Hope it works!
