Hi am going to Italy and will have no main access for amfewmweeks, intend to stay in one place for a while around 8 days, whilst I have a two way charger on tow bar, am thinking if getting a sine wave 300 wdc convertor andnsolar panel, 40 w, do you think that would be enough or do I get a 60 w solar without the sine wave? However would like to have somem230 power as well, or is it too small? Ps on a budget of £150 and found this on eBay! Got to make a snap decision as off on the 17 August.. Would like some help

Blessings x

It depends on what you expect to use. If its just lights water pump etc then a 40 Watt panel is enough to be continuously off EHU. Changing your major use light[s] to LED bulbs is very helpful.
If you want to use a TV then things can be different and viewing would need to be rationed.

Later on in the year with lowering sun angles power yield goes wrong quickly.

The inverter is only needed if you want 230 AC power. A true sine wave inverter is expensive relative to a modified sine wave inverter. It will power things like lap tops that sometimes will not function on a modified sine wave unit.
I find a 300 Watt inverter is a sensible size for my laptop like duties; going higher than this with true sine wave units gets very expensive.
