That all makes sense and seems to match our Pullman 535 BUT what if you accidentally set the switch to van then put fridge switch on and tow the unit???
We just did this and found the battery 100% dead on arrival!! Not happy! Yes, I know it's an odd scenario and normally we leave the fridge off but must have accidentally knocked it on when closing down last time.
Btw our manual says to tow with switch in off position.
I have requested a full wiring diagram so I can find the resultant current path in this instance.
In a way, you've almost got too many options available with the ability to power the camper 12v systems from the car if need be (I've made up just such an extension lead to allow this if my leisure battery ever became flat). Notice that to power the fridge when travelling it doesn't matter what the setting of the van/car switch is provided that the 'red' fridge switch is on.
Anyone who wants to see a copy of the Pennine wiring diagram for the Sargent PSU2005 powered units it is available for download here
