Hi All, I have just got this camper second hand, been out once and all is great except I cant get the water pump to work. Firstly I was connected to electric hook up and everything else worked. It has a new pump (straight out the bag) I tried it on someone else's system and it worked but theirs did not work on mine. I connected my 12v cold box to the external sockets on the pump connections and it worked ok. The only other thing is that I don't have a battery connected into the system, what is wrong. I also have a switch on the left (as you look at it) of the cooker that I don't know what it connects too.
Hi cstank, Ihave a 1999 coway cruiser .I assume the 12v light on the wardrobe works ok?On my camper the their is a switch on top of the fuseboard(under the locker ) marked 12v this needs to be on .The switch to the extreme left is the pump isolater .this needs to be switched on.On the right hand side of the sink is a round knob marked whale (which operates the pump) At the back of that knob is a pressure switch which could be the problem.I recently had a problem where the pump was not working ,when i pulled out the knob the long stem had broken of inside so the knob was turning but doing nothing.I managed to pull the stem out using the wifes tweezers ,bought another whale knob for a fiver, pushed it in and it worked. You don,t need the battery on hook up the pump should still work. Hope this helps GCB
