Mm similar layout to the Goburs now, but much more modern looking. Apart from the price, the old fashioned look was something that would have always put me off the Gobur. If I was in the market for an expensive folding caravan the Artemis looks quite nice now with its new layout.
Yep and at £16.000 some one as a sense of humour , all i can say good look to pennine and there dealers trying to sell this ,when they say Heating they mean a plinth heater at the farthest point possible from the seating area ,and hot water they mean a piddling capacity electric only water heater ,and at the seating end the smallest fold up table possible (No Chest ) and all for £16.000 .like a say some one has a sense of humour
Wasn't there a certain dealer in Kent that abused the forum by constantly posting questions about the Artemis to try to shift dead stock a while back. Just saying
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Just seen one GREAT looking ( on the web) I must say I have no idea why poeple say " you can get a caravan for that money " the same could be said in a honda goldwind motor bike "I could get a car for that price"
Very odd if I wanted a caravan I would be looking at one but since I want to store at home and tow a low unit and keep my gear box lol I am looking at folding caravans at the NEC next week .
PS do not want the damp body that seems to be the death of so many caravans nowdays or the storage charge / servicing charge /petrol charge (50% more then a camper to tow) So I will not be saying I can get a caravan for that .
Never once on this thread as any one said you can get a Caravan for that Money the problem is the amount of equipment you get for your money ,the principle is good and fresh and modern looking ,but for the spec you get, far to overpriced , i for one would think hard about one at £11000 but at £16000 it would not even get on my radar, needs same equipment you get in a basic cheap caravan( blown air heating around van ,fly screens and blinds , gas and elec hot water with decent capacity , centre chest with fold out table to eat off ,) then it might be worth looking at
Not bad for a folding caravan, but roof holds water and then drips inside causing mildew. No workspace in kitchen area or draining facility on sink. Toilet compartment very small and sink drips on to toilet when folding away. Very pricey,. a top of the range 2 berth tourer costs less you get much more equipment. A definite no-no.
