Hi this is a message for phil69x really as he seems to be a bit of an expert on folding campers.
What do you think of item number 281049227205 on eBay ?

Thanks

Forgive me for butting in....

I was watching this tent, the cabin canvas, especially the roof sounds as though it has been packed away damp and the canvas has rotted. It would be possible for someone like TVS to put a roof in whick should then make it useable. The guy has sold the awning (the part I was interested in) so all you are getting is the trailer and cabin.

The interior looks good and from what he said has just been cleaned (again possibly damp?) so should be useable.

He appears to be somesort of house clearer or trader because he says it came from a house clearance.

I would want to see it, or at least pictures of the roof before bidding.....

Would be worth putting a new roof in, I would guess about £150 to £200 worth of work. (Price is just a guess though)

Hi the roof of our cruiser was replaced 6 years ago at a price of £300 so you may be looking towards £400+ now.....
but at least you know what is wrong with it ...perhaps...

I sure do like the UK summers :) :)

We paid £400 last year for a new roof on our Pullman cabin but it is a 2002 model with an immaculate interior and a full awning, that we got for a bargain price so it was well worth it.

I personally don't think it's worth it. For £700 you could get a very nice camper with an awning. Hang on for a month or so and there will be lots for sale.

a shame he sold off the awning,as the inside looks good.i see it has a proper zig unit.As others have said it's to much money once you put a new roof on it.don't know how far you live from it,but it maybe worth a visit to see if the whole roof needs doing or just one or two sections.TVS were charging about £60 for a full panel so if it only needed one or two doing it might be worth it.
i bought mine with a worn out roof and it cost £300 to replace,so whole thing cost £500,but i have an almost new full awning, plus an unused canopy (still unused by me).
must say not having an awning would not bother me now as i never use it since doing the light weight porch awning conversion.
the damp/rot in the door is quite common, but is this the start of a bigger problem?,as there a quite a few units out there with damp wall panels.

It looks as though the bed pod inners may be missing too - possibly because of the damp roof.
