Hi

I have brought a folding camper for the first time and was looking to book a few pitches while they are cheap

the only problem is that i dont know which pitch i need to book am looking on the haven site and you only get the option of trailer tent or tourer

Obviously a foliding camper doesnt need to be pegged down so would be able to go on a tourer pitch but obiously not a caravan

Anyone able to tell me what i should be booking without having to ring them to find out?

Many would say - whichever is cheapest!

In our FC days, we booked tourer pitches, and never had a problem.

no easy answer,some will allow you to book a tourer pitch and some won't,you would be best to phone and ask.

I generally phone or e-mail and just ask for a grass pitch with EHU for a folding camper...if there's any fuss about it, I just go somewhere else...I've only had one site who asked whether we were a front and back opener or an over the wheels opener...think it's because the over the wheels openers need poles to support the beds...I still didn't go.

Ring/email to check - most touring pitches are hardstanding so okay for FC's.

A Folding Camper has the same footprint as a Caravan, so a tourer pitch is what you want.
