hi i posted the other day about this but now i have pictures so ppl can see what i mean about the broken bit

this is what it should look like



but this is what one of them looks like now where could i get the end bit ???? or would a caravan center repair it ???



another question how much do you think it would cost for some one to repair this rip

looks like the 'head' [ a spring cap] has come off. these are a length of rod with a push on end cap similar to what is used on toys bikes etc..you would need to know the diameter of the bar.... prob 6mm...or you could replace it with a 'dome' headed bolt...

the rip, is it on a wall? or the roof?
you would need to take the canvas off to have it repaired ... "Kingswood Canvas"   near me has a £60 min charge.... get a repair kit if it is on a wall.

thanks for the reply where would i get a spring cap. The rip is near the back window i would have a go at repairing do you have any links to a good repair kit or can you buy the from most camping stores ??

As for the rip,if you don't want an obvious patch,use a sew on decal of some sort,make it look like its's meant to be there!

those caps are called domed star locks, theres loads on ebay and as already mentioned alot of sites sell them, they just literally push on the end of the rod

also you could try spinnaker tape to repair your rip in the canvas as it appears to be only minor damage, its used to repair sails on boats and is alot stronger than it looks
