Thinking about buying a folding camper- like the look of the Pennine ones especially. Sadly we don't have £10-£15,000 to spend on one. Can any recommend a company that sells pre-owned campers at a good affordable price- approx £2-3,000 and that offers finance. We have been to camping international, as based in the south east- and found the service good- but prices for 2nd hand a little more than we wanted to pay.
At that sort of budget you may struggle from a dealer
We bought ours a few years ago from Burcroft Camping at Billing Aquadrome who re open for season 1/3, so a trip up the M1 needed and whilst up that way check out Tony WIld at Woburn
No idea about finance but you can pay at either of thsoe with a credit card which may be better if you use a 0% card for instance
You would honestly be better at that sort of price depedning on what model that is for, looking at private sales. Check out free ads on here. look at Pre-loved, ebay, Gumtree nd also Conways Owners club website
Hi,
We got our 2nd hand Conway Countryman ( 2003, I believe but in pristine condition) from Camping World at Horsham last October for the budget you stated. You could try them.
I did notice that Camping International are doing 0 percent finance for all sales greater than £500 during Jan, Feb and Mar. They are always getting folding campers in so may just be worth keeping an eye out.
Over the Christmas period, they had one in that wasn't very old and was sold as having slightly soft sides. Whilst I k ow it isn't ideal, it was only a little bit of work to be done and was £1500. We wuld have jumped at it but can't put it on our driveway as it is too steep to push up.
Keep an eye on their site, or, alternatively, get the sales guy Terry to stick you on his interest list.

Hi Susperrala.
For buying on finance I would up the budget to £5k or more and I would ignore dealers offering finance, better to get say a Tesco loan at 5.2% etc, although I think that the Tesco offer is for loans over £7.5k.
Not using the dealers finance put's you in a much better bargaining position especially with used units.
Thanks for all your help. Like the look of burcroft camping might have to go on a little road trip. They look like they have got quite a few on display as well. Just wondering if any of the dealerships will haggle on the price of 2nd hand units (perhaps for cash).
We always haggle over the price, or should I say the husband does! He is better at it than me! In our opinion, they always add a bit on to be knocked down anyway! Go for it!
