went to look at a pathfinder 600tc yesterday which we were rather impressed by.
what we would like to know is do they have blow heaters. think this one is a 2001/02 model?

Some do some don't but probably not at that age. As above just take a small fan heater or oil radiator and then you can move it wherever you need it aswell, You can retro fit one below the oven and some have used a oplinth heater which is all that Pennine use
Gas is great for non EHU use but obviously you should be rather more careful with that and not leave on overnight especially which is where the oil rad comes in very useful
I see you have the Randger which is pretty similar to the Pathfinder although 25cm shorter and the LX doesn't have the toilet and washroom like the 575TC or Pathfinder
One thing your unit will have is the larger beds at both ends however. The Pathfinder only has a larger front bed at around 137cm wide (140cm on the Trigano's i think from memory) and only around 122cm wide at rear
We have a 2005 pathfinder and it didnt come with heating so we bought a plinth heater from B&Q and put it where the cupboard is under the cooker, works a treat
Ours has a retro fitted gas and electric blow heater fitted
under the seat next to the hot water heater. Being new to it and not having used it in anger yet I am not sure how effective it is. Two things are apparent though firstly it takes up quite a bit of storage room and secondly it strikes me as being fairly noisey. So I guess untill I have
used it for real the jury is out.
Ours is the 2007 Pathfinder and it does have the fan heater under the oven unit.
However, apart from first thing in the morning, we never use it, much preferring the oil filled radiator which, during colder weather, just stays on 24/7.
We have what looks to be a thermostat on the front of the seating next to the cooker, any idea what this would for, is this for the water temperature for the hot water?

I just use a 2kw electric fan heater, takes seconds to heat up the camper, then if it is a bit chilly we have electric blankets on both beds at night that works really well.
The air blow heater was a optional extra, takes up space under the seats and burns the backs of your legs when it's on and sitting down.
When really cold last year we camped up to nearly November and used a oil filled rad at night.
