Hi,

Can someone please help me with this issue.

If I turn on the cold water tap in the bathroom, the water flows as normal. If I turn it off and turn on the kitchen sink cold water tap, nothing. If the bathroom cold water tap is on, and I turn the kitchen cold water tap on, then water flows out of the kitchen tap. I know what your thinking? Faulty micro switch? I've replaced this one with the bathroom one and I still have the same issue. The same happens with the hot taps. The bathroom tap is operating the outside pump, but the kitchen one is not.

Anyone got any other ideas?

I have heard people talking about a 12v cigarette socket under the sink? Where is it as I can't see one.

Also there is a blue 'pressure' box which is connected to the cold water pipes. How is this adjusted?

This is last issues that I have, so please help.

It doesn't help when you put the manual in a safe place and can't remember where you have put it!

If it's not the switch itself, it must be the wiring between the kitchen tap and the connections to the pump.

Do you lift the sink unit off when folding the camper? If so I assume there is a plug/socket arrangement to connect the tap switch to the fixed wiring. I'd start by checking both sides of the connector.

Hi,
The sink part comes off, but the taps are fixed and fold down. I'll check the wiring tomorrow.

Thanks.

From the underside of the kitchen sink  tap you should have a cable coming from it with a cigarette lighter type plug.

On the back of the fixed unit the sink sits on, you have the gas connector, the hot and cold water pipe connectors and next to this these is the socket for the tap to plug into for the electrical connection.

The plug usually resides in a holder on the back piece of wood when not in use for packing purposes.

Hope that helps

Mark

Cheers Mark.

Traced the issue. Faulty wire which has now been replaced.
