Hi.
Does anyone know if they allow folding campers in Butlins Minehead?.
I know they allow touring caravans but not tents but there is no mention of folding campers.

They probably don't know what they are, so it's best to give them a call and explain.

XVI yes?

As bluexpo97 says, it is best to phone and explain that the bottom half is like a caravan and needs no pegging.  I had to do this with Haven at Poole, who hadn't a clue what I was talking about and I eventually sent them a link to the Conway Owners site so they could have a look!  They did take us so worth a try.

I second the C& CC club at Minehead, far nicer than Butlins. Bit of an interesting drive up but amazing views at the top.

After a 3 year break the trailer tent is back in use. Here"s to 2016.

I will phone Butlins when I get home (at the moment I'm in Northam farm Brean for a week).
It's crazy Butlins do not advertise their camp site online.
I am a member of C.C.club and I'll check that site out.

We've used our Pennine Fiesta at Butlins, Minehead a few times, had a great time!

Minehead

01643 700515 – Touring site and general enquiries.

We've not been for a couple of years so things may have changed but is a small site at the bottom of one of the carparks, the facilities are basic but adequate and it's a great way to go... we've managed to get on with one days notice, perfect if there a couple days sunshine expected!

Thanks for the replies.

I phoned them, after explaining what a folding camper was, I was told "no problem with folding or trailer tents".

They have emailed me a booking form.

Roll on June.
