Hi,

Has anyone seen a 2013 Pennine Folding Camper yet?

The brochure states it has central heating and I wondered if this was just a plinth heater?

Yeah they're pretty much standard same as you get in kitchens. Do work well but a bit noisy with the fan, but they do heat up fast.
I was using a oil filed rad but switched to the air blown, heats up much quicker.

Agree about speed of heat up ... but you can leave the oil filled on all night, whereas a fan makes too much noise.

Yeah I agree with the oil filled radiator at night, trouble with having a canvas the heat goes out the roof.
I took 2 heaters a few weeks ago, our normal oil filled rad and a halogen heater that turns, and if falls over turns off. Out of the two the halogen heater is very lite and gives off amazing heat only trouble is needs to be kept away from canvas, but turns off if gets knocked over. Where as the oil filled rad is very heavy doesn't give off the heat like the halogen, but feels safer left on at night.
Hope this helps some how, I've chosen the halogen due to the hardly weighing anything and a lot smaller,also with a small fan heater. Lovely and cozy.

Hi
we've just spent three nights away with frost every night and weren't cold at all-used a delonghi convection heater which has a fan boost for when you need to heat up quickly-just left it on lowest setting overnight-really cosy and they are not too heavy,don't fall over and you can sleep ok as they don't light up like halogen-although our Westie seems to prefer the halogen glow!!
