i've decided to change my jockey wheel, having bent my original (along with the kitchen pole !!!!!!!!).so, looking on ebay, and i see they come in different sizes. can anyone tell me the size of the camplet one?. also is choosing a pnumatic over the top? is there a better/worse jockey wheel to go for?.
regards Brumski
p.s. i'm reffering to the mm size rather than the size of the wheel.

It's a 34mm one,but in most cases, one with a handle instead of the original hex will not work if you have a front box fitted. I replaced mine with a standard one and replaced the handle with the hex drive. A pneumatic one may be over the top,the camplet's nose weight is very low and drops to almost nothing once the kitchen is swung out.
A good standard jockey is half the price of the camplet branded one.

once again miserly comes to the rescue! great info regarding the front box and the hex fitting, is it an easy job, changing the new jockey wheel handle to the hex fitting?. hi derek, i try not to use jacksons too much, as i find them (like the rest) too pricey.

The jockey hex is held in place with a roll pin, punch this out and do the same with the new wheel to remove the handle. Chances are it won't be a perfect fit,a little loose doesn't matter, and the holes won't line up,so will need re drilling

I fitted a Campastore front box from Camperlands on my Concorde and recently fitted a 34 mm jockey wheel from leisure-mart.co.uk for £13.50 + p & p. Their web site shows the dimensions of the wheel, handle, clearance etc. The handle easily clears my storage box so I didn't have to change it, so it might be worth checking the measurements of your storage box and possibly save yourself a job.
