Hi all
Just been away for our maiden voyage in 'Nessie', our Pennine Aztec camper. The water pipes produced black bits when first used, and the 'clear' pipe looked filthy, so I bought some new pipe to do a pipe-change. Prior to doing the change I decided to try good old bleach. I put a large bowl of bleach and water by the inlet pipe, and pumped the water through, allowing it to stay in the pipe for the afternoon, and afterwards I washed the pipe out with plenty of clean water. Result was a beautifully clean water pipe with very little effort. I can now rest knowing my drinking water is clean.
Thought this may help someone.
Happy camping :)

Milton tastes better than bleach, but make sure you don't get splash back.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

We just flushed ours with puriclean. The problem with bleach is that it kills bacteria but does not remove bio-film.
