If I was thinking along the lines of a roof box, I would be looking at something that would fit between the bed ends when the FC is folded but before the Transit Cover went on. IE under the 4 frame poles but cross-wise across the FC.

There is loads of unused room under there and with the Transit Cover then tied down, no one would know you even had a roof box there.

Actually I must put a picture on about my brake cable under my pathfinder, seems to just be hanging, where it goes into a Y to both the brakes.
