Hi all I'm new to this site but wondered if anyone could help?
I bought my Trailer tent at a bargain price last September thinking it would be the start of many an adventure for me & my young family. However having just recently spent our first short break in it, we realised that the awning is not going to be sufficient for longer breaks.
I'm thinking if we could get a bigger awning for it then problem solved but because it is an older model (approx 25 yrs old) I am having no luck finding any information on the Sunseeker let alone any extras available to buy!
Does anyone know if this type of trailer tent is still being made? If so where could I buy an awning for it?
Many thanks in advance
Jodie :)

Welcome to the forum. One possible answer would be to have the awning extended, this can be done as long as the original canvas is ok. You would then need to do something with the poles though. Keep looking on ebay meanwhile, good luck.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry can`t give any advise on your TT, but if you want some extra room and have no joy with a larger awning then you could consider a day room, which you could use for cooking in, eating in and just relaxing in.
Hope it helps or someone will come along with suggestions for TT.
I don't think Sunseekers are made any more and I don't think they made a bigger awning for those that they did make. You could see if you could get an extension piece made that would zip on to your cabin and then zip your existing awning onto the extension. If you contact Tent Valeting Services at Bolton they will tell you if they have one that will fit or if they can make one for you - won't be cheap though you are probably looking at £275.
A local canvas repairers or sailmaker might be able to make you one up cheaper but you would have to sort out the poles.
The other alternative is a sun (or rain) canopy. Have a look at my profile pic - since having ours (it's a caravan one, £45 off ebay) we rarely use our awning, we do all our cooking, eating and socialising out there.
We own a sunseeker deluxe. They were made by Springfield Camping in Halifax. Although the company is still going, they stopped making these many years ago due to manufacturing costs vs imports. They made an extension awning that makes the tent much longer. Their number is 01422 883164.
If you are still looking for the extension, maybe I can help. We had a disaster on Anglesey, with a lot of damage caused by high winds. So we are changing tents and selling the Sunseeker for spares, inc the undamaged extension if you are interested?
Hi, we recently purchased a sunnseeker trailer tent as well - we love i but struggled with space too - did you have any luck getting an extension at all? I thought about a sun canopy but not sure yet....
