Hi
I remember someone said they had bought wheels for their Cabanon kitchen. Where did you get them from and have you any pictures?
Our newly acquired Stratos has heat damage to the underside of the kitchen cover. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement?
Thanks in advance.

If you kitchen legs are the same as the Olympe then they will square.

I welded four M10 square stainless steel nuts inside the bottom of each leg. I then used four M10 square washers. Four M10 spring washers. Four M10 bolts, 40mm long.

To secure the wheels I held the square washers between the wheel and the leg then put the spring washer over the bolt and then the bolt through the bottom of the wheel into the nut welded inside the leg. I put the two wheel with the brake on on the two front legs as you look at the kitchen as I find it keeps the kitchen unit in place.

I will post pictures when we return form a week in Looe, Cornwall at the beginning of June.

Hope it helps.

Griff

If you are not as handy as Griff, the wheels are available with a plastic expanding piece, works sort of like a rawlplug. These are what I used for my old tt

Just looked them up,the inserts are called square expanding tubular adapters, catchy, huh?

Thank you Griff and Miserly
Griff I am afraid I am not up to following your technique but thanks anyway and I do like the wheels. Did you use 3" wheels?

Miserly, I'll try for the expanding adapters.

Thanks again

Hi Inishcara
I have a Cabanon Neptune and bought replacement legs with wheels attached from Tent Valeting Service. I replaced all 4 legs.....they are excellent and make life so much easier. Perhaps give them a call to see if they still supply them?

No I'm sorry. Perhaps £25 per pair. Rings a bell, but suggest you just call them.

I think they're £25 a pair from TVS. If we hadn't decided to switch units I was going to get them for the Jametic.

The 2013 Olympe has an option for wheels on the kitchen. I believe they just fit over the legs and are locked in place with a pin.

It might be worth contacting Black Country Caravans and ask if the wheels for the Olympe will fit your kitchen unit.
