Hi, we have just sold our cabanon stratos TT that we have had from new & was still in very good condition but with the kids being older it was just me & my hubby & as I have bad wrist's it was getting to much like hard work for us' so we have bought an Conway Tardis pop up camper, it might be old but it had a new canvas put on it 3 years ago & is so cute, we have had a couple of long weekends away in it, up & ready in 15 min's, sat down with a cuppa the dog asleep in her bed, she loves it too!! wish we had done it earlier, any tip's from any one??
If I remember when I was looking at this model, check where the winch is to put the camper up as it rots and rips the winch out.check around this area and reinforce where this sits.
------------- Up there for thinking, down there for dancing. 😎
Hi always remember to undo ALL the roof clips before starting winding as you will break the cables otherwise - expensive mistake! It also helps to wind the top down fully clip it all and then do a half turn back before travelling as this will stop the cables jumping whilst travelling.
check out the conway owners site lots fo advise re hardtops on there.
thanks for the tips, we will make sure we do the half turn every time now, it is useful to know, he's to many trips away in our little camper, we love it!!
