We had our first trip away in our Continental this week - four nights in North Berwick. Overall it was a success apart from our toddler coming down with chicken pox!
It took a couple of nights before we got ourselves sorted out, especially as we didnt attempt to put up the awning on arrival due to high winds but we've learned a bit for next time. Got the awning up on day two and without any arguments!
Here we are fully set up;
And here is our view as the sun set;
Can't wait for our next trip now, will look to get away for a week in August but hopefully might get a weekend or two in before then.
No, it's definitely on a site. There is no way we could have braved it without electric hook up for the fan heater! We stayed at Tantallon caravan site at North Berwick and it was fairly quiet. Here is another pic just to prove it!
And here are another couple of sunset pics just because they are worth sharing!
As I said it was a bit windy on our arrival and we were a bit worried that our first trip was going to turn out to be a nightmare. Thankfully the wind died own though. There were a few tents in the top field which is sheltered by trees but I had booked a caravan pitch which is in the open.
