Hi Greasychipbutty ,
How did you get that tent to fit? And what make, looks really good.
Hi again mr T,I assume you have had a look on my gallery?
It is, wait for it, An outdoor revolution xl drive away lightweight porch awning. It measures 2.4m square very quick and easy to put up and is very light for the size with spring loaded fibre glass poles. If I have to wet pack ,I can put it back up on the garden to dry when I get home.It is attached to the campers, zip using figure 8 strips.
Hope this helps GCB
PS camper lights tomorrow mr T , going to put gu spots in though, and an extra twin socket and swiched fused spur to feed the lights
Ah good stuff should be a good day tomorrow. Have you got 3 core flex ? As you will need this as well, that's if your putting a socket in like I did.
Lay your lights out and plan your route. Can't remember now how high mine are off the floor, inch and a half if I recall.
You may have trouble putting in a switched fused spur for the lights as they're 12v and need to be run from the adapter, that's why I just leave them plugged in under the sink, on a double switch.
I must buy my sockets as well as I'm going to put one where the 12v socket is for my wardrobe as thats well easy,
I do like your tent idea though.
------------- Up there for thinking, down there for dancing. 😎

Yes I have my flex, but the lights I have bought are mains voltage and more for general lights rather than night lights (so I only half nicked your idea lol) gu spots. The awning is the type designed for motorhomes.Going for a weekender awning ,which is even quicker to put up but a bit smaller.
I will then have 3 awnings for short, long and longer camps
