I've been getting quotes for a full service and they're coming in at around £180 inc VAT plus parts. I was expecting it to be at least half that. Is this about right or should I keep looking? If anyone can recommend anyone who covers Hampshire, that would be great. Thanks.

£180 sounds like the price for a full caravan service including gas and electric checks. A chassis only service would probably be around £90 to £100.

Have you tried the MCEA website for a local service chap?

You only need to check running gear/chassis,gas test,water and electrical test.
Hot water boiler if its has one and a very quick damp test.
Remember alko hub nuts are about £3 off ebay not £20 like some engineers charge,we dont charge for hub nuts unless its BPW.
Should take one man between 1-2 hrs.
