Has anybody ever used an alternate awning ie stand alone to the standard awning for speed and convenience?Ours is now too large and takes over an hour on a good day despite knowing our way around! It would be good just to have a quick alternate to use.We have a Sunncamp 400SE
An hours not terrible, takes me that long to set my "quick erect " tt up. I suppose a drive away awning for a motor home could work ,or a big day tent, but they still take time, and you will miss having a proper set up. Personally,I enjoy setting up,I don't rush even if it's raining.

As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I use a drive away awning on the F.C Its quicker and a lot lighter than the standard one. Check out my gallery to see it erected.
I had one of these with my campervan. It really is a quick and easy awning and mine was easy to get back in the bag. The guy in the shop told me the best way is not to faff about with it too much so basically take it down, gather the 'arms' - it's a bit similar to a folding umbrella and shove it in the bag.
