You should take your own hook up lead ad shown above, remember to turn on at the site pitch supply and press the test button.
You will find that it might not trip - turn its self off, due to mechanical " sticking". Hence take your own, plug in and always , firt thing switch on and press the teats button.
If it does not turn off, do it manually and try again. If you find that it does not "trip" then have it replaced a if you have a fault it will not disconnect the power.
A but long but it's about being safe with electricity.
