I am not new to camping, caravanning or trailer tenting, but I seem to be accumulating so much 'camping stuff' I am getting a bit concerned about the safety aspect of it all.
I have a SunnCamp 305se TT. There are 2 adults, 3 children with all the usual holiday suitcases etc.
I have added a plastic storage chest to the front A frame (not with original box)and a cycle carrier.
How much can you safely take with you??
------------- Life is too short to stuff a mushroom!
If I remember correctly the ex works weight for the 350se is the same as the 400se which is 357kg and the max gross weight is 500kg, which means you can store items to the weight of 143kg, which will include the weight of the box on the "A" frame.
There are a lot fewer of them these days but find out if there's a public weighbridge nearby. Cheapest and easiest way to find out total weight of rig. Some local councils let you use theirs.
I weigh all extra items that I carry in the trailer ... use a luggage hook type ... bundle small items together in a bag to weigh ... then tot it all up.

Daft question...but how do you weigh all of the stuff you put in your trailer, especially when some bits like awning can be quite big!!
Most local refuge depots have a weigh bridge the public can use albeit they may charge roughly £10. Check with your local council to see if your local one provides the service.
What we also do when buying camping gear is note the weight of what we have just purchased and keep it in an excel spreadsheet so not only do we know the total weight of everything in the TT, but also the total cost, which is handy for insurance purposes.
