well ,you would need to buy some figure of 8 they fix on to the zip and then onto the awning. But you have to close one side of the figure of 8 up so it sits snug onto the zip. Probably the best way to close the gap on the figure of 8 is to put the stripes into a bath of boiling hot water this makes the plastic soft so you can squeeze one side closed .But make sure you leave one end open so you can slide it onto your zip. I would not close the figure of 8 strip up completely I would leave a 2mm gap so it runs along the zip when your attaching the figure of 8. Hope you no what I mean about figure of 8. I would also measure the height of the zip from the ground. Because some awnings have different heights where they attach. For example 210 to 250 or 250 to be 295 hope this helps and you understand what I mean
