Firstly thank you to everyone on this site, every time I have posed a question as a newby, the answers have been spot on, and made our folding camper trips, complete!
Glastonbury was amazing, our beds comfortable (with our mattress topper) and our awning, much better with the clips somebody recommended on here!
So, new question!! Our camper is a little old (1996 but we love it) the last owners didn't use the awning much, and a lot of the rubbers that you use to peg the awning down have perished. We bought new ones, but the cotton tape they were attached to on the awning, has also started to come away in certain areas.
We wondered how to attach new ones, can you buy a sort of Rivvet tool (not sure if that's what they are called) but something to make new holes in the awning to attach new tapes/rubbers, to be able to peg down securely??
Hope this makes sense, I am sure you are all used to my dodgy explaining by now!
