Silly question, sorry. But I can't find it anywhere or where it might sit and connect. If you have a Cardinal, where is your battery please? Mine is a 1996. Has the electrics for charging the battery under the seats but can I find the battery. I cannot. Silly me.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate that. Under my cushions I have two compartments. The one nearest the window is full of the fuse box, charger and so on. The other one is plain empty. No sign of wires, holes or anything. How strange. Thanks again. I will keep looking :)

Ditto, but mine has not got a securing strap or anything and the battery terminals look rather 'previous owner bodgy'. I suspect it was moved there for 'access' at some point.

My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

My Cardinal is a 1991 and as previously posted the leisure battery sits in the same box as stated, it has it's own little box with a red lid!!! Is this as standard?

I had a 1991 and a 1998 Cardinal and both were under that seat too. As I recall, there were wooden battens fixed to the floor and it just stood in there.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all your comments. I think I can safely say that my Cardinal for some reason has never had a battery. The box is pristine, no marks of an earlier fitting. So, I have a job to do over the summer. Thanks again everyone. Have a great summer.

Do you think you'll ever need a leisure battery? We've never have cause to use ours, don't really know if it works, as it's disconnected!!
If you decide you won't use it I'd not worry about fitting one!!

I think you are quite right, I have come to the same conclusion myself. Let's see where we get to in August but we are an all-electric hook up family these days. Need a fan today ! Best wishes and thanks.
