I keep the side annex, canopy, pillows and towels in the actual trailer bit under the canvas. There's not loads of room but if you pack it well you can get quite a bit in.
I leave everything for the kitchen and other bits and bobs packed up in the kitchen at the back, the front box has a gas bottle, peg bag, bed skirt, bits of wood to go under the bed and kitchen legs, breathable groundsheet, a couple of little solar lanterns, can of fabsil, can of WD40, washing line and pegs, repair kit etc, etc. There's space in the luggage rack on top to keep things like your table and chairs if you wanted, I put mine in the boot though.
Mine lives outside part of the year with a tarp on top just in case. I have a heavy duty motorbike chain and lock through the axle and wheel.

but I totally forgot to ask ( and excuse the stupidity of the question) can you store camping equipment in the trailer or is it just the tent that goes in there?
